Our Story
From Dreams to Reality
When we first bought Primrose Farm, it wasn’t with any big plan in mind.
We just wanted a place where we could run a few cattle and spend time on the land, something we both grew up with and have always valued and something we wanted to share with our girls as well.
After spending the last 10 years overseas off and on we returned back to Brisbane, hopefully for good, and really wanted our own farm to enjoy.
But like most second properties, the reality is we are not there all the time. And it started to feel like a missed opportunity, having a house in a great area, sitting unused for long stretches. At the same time, costs everywhere were creeping up especially on the Farm.
So we made a small shift. Instead of letting the farmhouse sit empty, we opened it up to others looking for a simple, affordable place to get away. To us it makes sense, we love being there and therefore we imagine others would love the experience as well!
Hopefully you can come and stay but also hopefully we can share our journey and encourage you also to have a go!
